Consulting Physician (or Clinical educator)

US BioTek and RealTime Labs, a leader in functional laboratory testing, is happy to announce a new opening for a Consulting Physician (or Clinical educator). 

We envision the position as full-time, preferably with 2-3 days per week in the office, but we are flexible. You will serve as an educational resource to our client practitioners, providing input on interpreting test results, providing content, and educating our sales and marketing teams. You must have experience with functional testing for food sensitivity, organic acids, mycotoxins, microbiome, etc. You have a natural curiosity in the field and can quickly insert yourself in new research and further educate yourself, so you are always up to speed on the latest within our industry. We have an external team of consulting physicians that can help with further education where needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert clinical guidance to practitioner customers via video, phone and email.
• Support the sales and customer service teams.
• Support the marketing team with content webinars, blogs, etc., ensuring clinical relevance and accuracy in our communication.
• Provide feedback to leadership teams based on customer reactions and market movements.
• Assess the clinical value of new tests and test portfolios of potential acquisition targets (other labs).
• Update the sales team via CRM on the status of customers.
• Support key clinical message development by assisting with literature reviews and other processes related to message development.

Qualifications:

• Passion for functional medicine and helping our customers help their patients to better health.
• Advanced degree in clinical health sciences such as ND, MD, DO, PhD, or similar.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to respond effectively and professionally even in heated situations (most of our customers are fabulous and sweet, but once in a while, the blood pressure is a bit high)
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and translate those into more manageable bites.
• User-level understanding of MS Office and Windows
• Medical license in your residential state

 

Salary level:

$70,000 - $90,000 per year depending on qualifications
