Shipping Representative

We are a growing laboratory in Shoreline with a wonderful group of employees and have an immediate opportunity for a full-time onsite Shipping Representative to join our dedicated team.

This role will report to our Customer Service Manager and perform daily shipping and logistics tasks. Successful candidates will be reliable, detail-oriented and possess strong communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES include:

• Monitor and respond to incoming email/calls regarding shipping and logistics.
• Monitor and track outbound and inbound packages in the customs clearance process.
• Contact respective carriers or customers as needed regarding customs clearance.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation in order to clear shipment for delivery to destination.
• Assemble test collection kits.
• Print stock test collection kit orders and drop ship test collection kit orders; prepare package for shipping in accordance with the order.
• Ship packages via various shipping methods, assess proper shipping methods as outlined in company procedures.
• Record all shipping tracking information into our Laboratories Information System
• Complete office administrative tasks and additional duties as assigned
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Warehouse/Shipping work experience preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task with accuracy and proven problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to be productive independently.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
