In the quest to provide high-tech, cost-effective diagnostic medical
testing solutions, US BioTek Laboratories is now offering a new report
delivery service for our member practitioners.
Starting early November, 2009, the Online Report Delivery website will
provide participating practitioners with the ability to track their
patient orders and download any available reports through their web
browser. It is our hope that this direct, secure method of patient
accession and report tracking will offer considerable convenience to our
clients.
Below are some frequently asked questions and answers regarding this new
service:
What is Online Report Delivery?
US BioTek can make your patients' reports available directly and
securely on our report delivery website. When your patients' testing is
complete, the final reports will be uploaded to our secure pickup site
where they will be available for you to download at your convenience.
How do I register for Online Report Delivery?
You or a member of your staff should contact our Client Services
department and request access to our report delivery site. Within one
business day, you'll receive an introductory email with your
practitioner account login name and (temporary) password.
With the login name and temporary password, you can log in to our report
delivery site and, optionally, change your password to something more to
your liking. After online report delivery registration, all future
patient lab orders will be available online.
Where do I go to download my patients' reports online?
Point your browser to https://reports.usbiotek.com/ and use your login
name and password.
Why am I having trouble logging in?
The two most common login issues are a lack of online access (not
having been registered for online access) and/or password issues (needing help to reset your password). In
either case, please contact our Client Services staff and they will be
able to assist you.
How can I change my password?
You can change your password at https://reports.usbiotek.com/. After logging into your account, click on the “Change password” link on the top right-hand corner of the page. Then under the “Change password” section you must enter in your current password in the first box, your new password in the next box (your new password can be any preferable short or long characters and you may enter any combination of lowercase and/or uppercase letters), repeat your new password in the following box and finally click on the “Change” (to submit the updated password) or Cancel button (to not proceed with the update).
How will I know when new reports are available?
A notification email will be sent to your email address whenever a
new report file is uploaded. This email will contain a direct link for
faster download. Please note that you may still be asked to provide
your password if you haven't visited the report delivery site for a
number of hours.
How quickly/often is information updated on the report delivery
website?
Generally, the data in the reporting website will be no more than an
hour old. There may be times when the website is undergoing updates or
other maintenance, but this will be clearly noted on the site.
Are there any download limits?
There are no limits on report downloads, but individual reports are
only kept on our delivery website for 60 days. After this 60 day
retention window, you will need to contact Client Services to request
older reports.
How secure is this Report Delivery website?
Very secure. The report delivery website is only accessible with a
valid log in name and password. Additionally, all transactions are
protected with high-grade encryption (AES-256) to prevent unauthorized
access to your patients' data and reports.
