US BioTek Laboratories' specialty test panels are Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) based for superior performance. A trusted immunological technique, ELISA is widely used to detect the presence of specific antibodies or antigens in a patient's blood.
Our specialty test panels include:
Acetaminophen and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are commonly used to treat pain, fever, headache, backache, muscle and menstrual pain. NSAIDs, as the name implies, are used to treat the inflammation that often accompanies these problems.
But adverse drug reactions (ADR) are a common clinical problem that may cause a variety of conditions involving the skin, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal and respiratory systems. ADRs for all drugs are a major health issue and cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. In the United States alone, over 100,000 deaths are attributed annually to a serious ADR.
US BioTek's ELISA Painkiller Antibody Panel is a semi-quantitative analysis of serum for specific-IgG and IgA antibodies to acetaminophen, aspirin and ibuprofen.

Candida Antibodies (IgA, IgG, IgM) & Candida Antigen Panel
Generally, fungal infections due to overgrowth of candida are referred to as candidiasis of which cover a broad range of clinical signs and symptoms encompassing superficial, local and deep-seated infections.
The genus candida comprise about 154 species of which six most commonly inhabit the skin and mucous membranes as members of normal flora.
Our candida antibodies and antigen panel is a semi-quantitative analysis of serum candida antigen, in addition to IgM, IgG and IgA antibodies specific for candida.

Celiac Antibody Panel
Celiac disease (CD) also known as gluten-sensitive enteropathy, or idiopathic sprue, is a hereditary response to gliadin, a protein of the larger gluten fraction in wheat. Similar protein fractions are found in rye, barley and triticale.
The immune reaction to the gluten protein in the gut sets off an inflammatory state that may cause diarrhea, abdominal cramping, distension, flatulence, weight loss, fatigue and malaise.
CD is more common than originally thought. It may affect as many as 3 million Americans, which is roughly 1% of the U.S. population. For children between two-and-a-half and 15 years old, the prevalence of CD in the general population is approximately 1:300 to 1:80 children.
US BioTek LaboratoriesÕ ELISA Celiac Antibody Panel is a semi-quantitative analysis of serum anti-tissue transglutaminase IgA, in addition to IgG and IgA antibodies specific for gliadin.
