US BioTek Laboratories must receive within 14 days at RT from date of collection. |
RT = Room Temperature 21°C-26°C
Specimen collected on an expired kit or specimen that has not been sealed securely in the top lock bag, containing desiccant provided. These may result in a damp specimen on arrival. Overly dilute urine sample may result in a low creatinine value. This may render test results non-reportable.
See food list below.
Supplements and medications may alter test results. Unless specified by the ordering physician, it is suggested to avoid all supplements and medications for 48 hours prior to urine collection.
Antidepressant medications such as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs), Tricyclic Antidepressants (TCA), and Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors (SSRIs), including medications used to treat Parkinson’s.
5-10 business days from receipt of specimen.
