Are there any food restrictions prior to testing?

The following list of food items are advised to be avoided for 48 hours prior to collection.

Are there any medication restrictions prior to testing?

Medications that may interfere with markers of neurotransmitter status include, antidepressant medications such as Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs), Tricyclic Antidepressants (TCA), and Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors (SSRIs), including medications used to treat Parkinson’s.


What are the age restrictions for testing?

Not suitable for ages younger than 2 years.
